Help Montclair Businesses Win $250,000 Grant
At least 31 local businesses were raking in the votes as of Wednesday in the "Mission: Small Business" program, which is awarding up to 12 individual $250,000 grants to small businesses.

At least 31 Montclair businesses have applied for a small business grant through the "Mission: Small Business" program, sponsored by Chase and LivingSocial. The program will award up to 12 individual $250,000 grants to small businesses in the nation.

One of the requirements to be considered for the grant is to get at least 250 consumer votes on the program's website. So far, has 313 votes. But most of the other Montclair businesses have garnered only a few dozen votes.
Voting ends on June 30, so be sure to cast yours today on the "Mission: Small Business" website. After the voting period ends, a panel of judges will review the applications and determine the recipients.

All you have to do is go to your Facebook account, type in "Mission Small Business," hit the login button, then use the scroll bars to find New Jersey and then Montclair, and then vote for as many businesses as you want.
The goal of the "Mission: Small Business" program is to boost awareness of the important role small businesses play in local communities and to help small businesses grow.
