MONTCLAIR, NJ — Get ready to celebrate with some fun, family-friendly activities in Montclair this winter season.

Here are some upcoming events and activities happening for the 2025 holidays, according to the township's social media page:

WINTERFEST

The town will hold a “Winterfest Snowflake Spectacular” from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6 at Edgemont Park (Valley Road).

The event will include an appearance from Santa, as well as games, food, holiday-themed inflatables, face painting, gifts and trackless trains. Learn more here.

SOUTH END TREE LIGHTING

A tree lighting will take place at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 7 at 306 Orange Road in Montclair.

The family friendly event will include a Mrs. Claus photo opportunity with Mayor Renee Baskerville. Learn more here.

SANTA’S MAILBOX

Children in Montclair can mail a letter to Santa Claus and get a reply in return.

Participants can send their letter to “Santa Claus” c/o Montclair Recreation & Cultural Affairs Office, 205 Claremont Avenue, Montclair, NJ, 07042.
