Large Log Used To Break Into Pickup Truck In Montclair: Police
Someone used a big log to break multiple windows and part of the windshield, Montclair police said.
MONTCLAIR, NJ — Someone used a large log to break into a pickup truck on Alvin Place in Montclair earlier this week, police announced Tuesday.
The Montclair Police Department released the following details about the incident, which was reported on June 12:
“The complainant reported that a Chevy pickup truck that was parked on her property was entered and vandalized. It appears that a large wooden log was used to break multiple windows as well as a portion of the windshield.”
The suspect or suspects also broke off two locks on a nearby shipping container. Some of the items that were stored in the container were removed and scattered throughout the property, police said.
