Lululemon Opens in Montclair
Yoga-inspired athletic clothing company is latest part of Montclair Center revitalization.
The highly-anticipated opening of Lululemon in Montclair happened quietly this morning at 10 a.m., according to the store's Facebook page.
The building at 520 Bloomfield Ave., the former longtime home of a Karl's Appliances, has been under construction for many months. A new brick facade as well as public art hanging on its South Park Street exterior are among the improvements.
The shop offering all-things-yoga, as well as other athletic and casual clothing, has a jam-packed schedule for its first day:
- 10 a.m. Doors Open
- 11 a.m. Yoga demo with Kelly Santucci from YOUnique Yoga
- Noon Yoga demos with Alex Schulien and Kristy Link from Brazen Athletics
- 4 to 6 p.m. Dolly Moo organic body care product samples and demos
- 6 to 9 p.m. Accoustic guitar with Gerard Smith
Hours will be Monday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
