Man Brandishes Gun At 7-Eleven Worker In Montclair, Police Say
MPD: The suspect entered the store to pick up a mobile order, and an employee asked for his confirmation. That's when he flashed a gun.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — A man brandished a gun at a 7-Eleven worker during a tense encounter in Montclair last weekend, police announced Tuesday.
According to the Montclair Police Department, the incident took place Sunday on Bloomfield Avenue.

“Officers responded to the 7-Eleven on a report of an individual who brandished a firearm at a store employee. The store employee reported that the suspect entered the store to pick up a mobile order. When the employee requested to see the confirmation, the suspect refused and instead showed the employee a handgun in his waistband. The suspect then took the mobile order and a camouflage face covering that was offered for sale.”
The suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction, authorities said.
Police said the suspect was described as a male about 6 feet 2 inches in his early twenties. He was wearing a black do-rag, a white t-shirt and black shorts.
