Meg 'n Mike Play Church Street Summer Music
The event is Thursday night, June 28.

The Church Street Summer Music Festival, sponsored by Tapastry
Restaurant, proudly presents the musical renderings of "MEG 'n MIKE"
the duo of Meg Beattie & Michael Williams, outdoors on the corner of
Church Street and Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair on the evening of
June 28th, 7-10pm.
Meg Beattie and Michael Williams have been performing together at various fundraisers, benefits, charities, private parties and local venues in the greater
Montclair area for over 20 years. Montclair natives, they are best
known for their melodious, woven harmonies and song selections.
Michael, now retired after a long career with Verizon, plays
harmonica, guitar and sings lead and harmony. He was the lead singer
of The Lost Highway Ramblers until it disbanded. Williams is the
president of the GTO Club and has served on club’s committee in many
roles over the years. He has played in multiple local venues
including Tierney’s, Tapastry, Fitzgerald's 1928, Sesame and The Taste
of Montclair. Michael sang in Montclair’s St. Luke’s Choir for many
years which lead to an a capella performance at the Washington
National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. Michael has two grown children
and is married to artist, Meredith Wood.
Meg is a vocalist and guitarist who has played venues in both New York
City and Montclair, including Tapastry, Trumpets, Tierney’s, Sesame,
Uptown, The Taste of Montclair, The Church Street Summer Music
Festival, the Montclair July 4th Town Picnic at Edgemont Park and the
Montclair Tree Lighting Ceremony 2011. Meg worked on the First Night
Montclair 2012 Entertainment Committee with the Township of Montclair
and also booked the music for Montstock and the 4th of July Town
Picnic 2011. Meg is the mother of three grown children and a member
of Parents Who Rock. After a career in advertising, public relations,
marketing and corporate communications in Manhattan, she is now the
host and executive producer of Arts Up Close on TV34-Montclair.
The well-attended Thursday and Saturday night outdoor summer concert
series is managed and hosted by Greg Spinelli, Julian Keenan and Patrick.
In the event of inclement weather, the concerts move indoors to
Tapastry's main dining room at 12 Church Street, Montclair.
Owners, Greg and Cheryl Spinelli, are pleased to present the annual
music festival each year and to once again have an opportunity
to foster the arts alongside serving up their exciting al fresco tapas dining
