MKA's Haynes Rushes For Big Yardage
...Montclair resident stars for Cougars in narrow defeat

Montclair resident Allan Haynes has stepped up to be a very productive ground gainer for the Montclair Kimberley Academy football team.
The senior has rushed for a team-leading 427 yards on 95 carries and 3 touchdowns through the first four games for the 1-3 Cougar gridders.
Haynes, who has stepped in at quarterback to help fill a void at the position when fellow senior Nate Chou suffered a leg injury this past summer, had a top individual effort to shine in the Cougars' tough 20-14 overtime setback to Riverdale Country Day (N.Y.) School at Van Brunt Field in Montclair in a Sept. 20 Metropolitan Independent Football League contest.
