Montclair Event: Learn To ‘Navigate The Health Care Maze’
The free, public event will help older adults and their families to learn about Medicare/Medicaid, senior living, hospital stays and more.
MONTCLAIR, NJ — A free, public event in Montclair will help older adults and their families learn to “navigate the health care maze.”
According to a news release from Aging In Montclair, the event will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15 at the Montclair Public Library auditorium, 50 South Fullerton Avenue.
Organizers said the presentation is designed to help older adults and their families better understand the complexities of the modern health care system.

Speakers Kiran Mulgund and Nancy Di Gangi will guide attendees through the many transitions of care: from hospital stays and patients’ rights within the hospital, to rehabilitation, skilled nursing, home health, hospice, and senior living options. They will clarify what services are available, how to access them, and what Medicare does and does not cover.
