The Montclair Foundation Announces New Executive Director, Kay Sarlin Wright

Montclair, NJ - The Board of Trustees of the Montclair Foundation (TMF) announced today
that Kay Sarlin Wright has been selected to serve as the organization’s new Executive
Director. She will succeed Mark E. Packer who departed after a five-year tenure, earlier
this year. After a six-month search that garnered extensive interest from a wide range of
candidates, Sarlin Wright began her tenure on December 1st.

Foundation," said Montclair Foundation Chair Cathy Garrity. "Kay brings invaluable
experience from both the private and public sectors and is a very active and dedicated

With a distinguished record of service across both the private and public sectors, Sarlin
Wright brings extensive experience to her role and a strong commitment to impactful
communication and effective leadership. Most recently, she led communications for the
Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY). Sarlin Wright has also served as the Head of
Impact Communications at Audible and held key positions within city and state
government, including roles at Empire State Development, the New York City Department
of Transportation, and the New York City Department of Consumer Affairs. She is a
graduate of Hobart and William Smith Colleges and the Columbia University School of
Journalism.
The Montclair Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that awards grants to
