MONTCLAIR, NJ — A Montclair hospital welcomed its first baby of 2025 on New Year’s Day.

Lesley Calle and Jonathan Garcia of Bloomfield welcomed their baby boy, Jayden Garcia, into the world at 1:22 p.m. on Wednesday at Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center.

Garcia weighed 8 pounds, and 6 ounces and measured 20 inches. He joins his family, which includes older siblings Julian and Isabel Garcia, who are excited to welcome him.
