Montclair Music Venue Will Require COVID Vaccines To See Shows
Outpost In The Burbs: Every patron must show a completed vaccination record. Face masks will be required while waiting on line.
MONTCLAIR, NJ — Every music lover who wants to see an Outpost in the Burbs show this fall will have to be vaccinated against COVID-19, the Montclair nonprofit announced Thursday.
As coronavirus guidelines shift yet again on the state and federal level, Outpost in the Burbs has released its own set of rules for people who want to catch one of their concerts.
According to an email from the venue, the following policies will be in effect at all fall events, including the Sept. 19 show:

- Upon entry, every patron must show a completed vaccination record (dated at least 14 days before the show). Photocopy or a photo on your phone will be acceptable. A negative COVID test will not be accepted for entry.
- Face coverings will be required to be worn while waiting on line for entry before check-in. Once you have been cleared to enter, face coverings will not be needed.

“Our vaccination requirement is in place so that we can all enjoy the music and each others’ company comfortably and safely,” the venue stated.
