Montclair Police Arrest Locals for Burglary, Theft, DWI
Montclair Police have apprehended several local residents for stealing purses, burglarizing Montclair homes, and driving drunk since Jan. 1.

The Montclair Police Department apprehended several individuals for stealing purses, burglarizing local residences, and driving while under the influence.
Montclair Police responded to a report of a stolen purse on Jan. 2 at 10:36 p.m. at the Clay Anderson Arena, located at 41 Chestnut Street in Montclair. Upon arrival, the Officers learned that the purse contained two wallets, $60 in cash, and a cellphone. Montclair Detectives arrested a 17-year-old minor for this crime. The purse was recovered and returned to the victim.
Christ Delucia, 28, of Clifton was arrested at 1:16 a.m. on Jan. 1 at Grove Street at Watchung Avenue for driving under the influence.

On Jan. 4, Montclair Police arrested a suspect that is allegedly connected to open burglary warrant in Montclair. Marrell Sutton, 30, of Montclair was arrested on Mission Street and his bail was set at $7,500.
