Montclair resident Charlie O'Hara is an important senior leader on the offensive line for the Montclair Kimberley Academy football team which entered recent action with a 1-3 record.

O'Hara, a second-year transfer from Seton Hall Prep, has blossomed as a key O-Lineman for the Cougars earning All-Metropolitan Independent Football League honors last fall for an 8-1 MKA team which captured the MIFL South Division championship.

The sturdy 5-foot-11, 295-pound O'Hara also led MKA's offensive and defensive linemen to a terrific first place at the Verona 'Big Man' Challenge this past summer.

"Charlie has returned to his spot at right guard where he was All-Conference for us a season ago and he continues to be a force on our O-Line," said veteran MKA coach Anthony Rea. "He has committed to play his college football at Washington & Lee University (in Virginia) next fall and we're excited about his opportunity to play at the next level."
