Montclair School Board Election Results Certified: See Final Tallies
Eric Scherzer, Jada Roman and Holly Shaw have emerged victorious in the race for Montclair Board of Education.
MONTCLAIR, NJ — It's a wrap: Eric Scherzer, Jada Roman and Holly Shaw have emerged victorious in the 2024 race for the Montclair Board of Education.
On Tuesday, the Essex County Clerk's Office confirmed to Patch that the results from the 2024 general election have been certified in the wake of Election Day, which took place on Nov. 5.
Six people competed for three open seats on the Montclair school board: Eric Scherzer, Jada Roman, Sean Long, June Raegner, Andrew Gideon, and Holly Shaw.

Here are the final results, as per the clerk’s office:
- Eric Scherzer – 10,868 votes (24.46 %)
- Jada Roman – 9,977 votes (22.46 %)
- Holly Shaw – 8,186 votes (18.43 %)
- Sean Long – 6,164 votes (13.88 %)
- June Raegner – 4,881 votes (10.00 %)
- Andrew Gideon – 4,347 votes (9.79 %)
