Montclair's Lacordaire Academy Names New Associate Head Of School
Mannato has been a member of the Academy Leader Team the past five years and served as Academy's Director of Guidance and Student Affairs.

From Lacordaire Academy: Lacordaire Academy has announced that Megan Mannato of Montclair has been named as the Associate Head of School for the 2017-2018 academic year.
Mannato has been a member of the Academy Leader Team for the past five years and has served as the Academy’s Director of Guidance and Student Affairs. As the Associate Head, she will oversee Academy operations and work closely with the Dean of Academics to sustain and enhance the curricular and programmatic excellence of the lower, middle, and upper schools. She will continue in her new position to provide guidance, oversee the college and high school search process, and assist students to successfully navigate their way through the Academy.
Mannato has her master’s degree from NYU in counseling and her BA from Syracuse University in psychology. She began her career at NYU, where she served as Associate Director of Admissions. After completing her MA, she moved on to become the Director of Student Affairs at the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU. In this position, she was responsible for planning student activities that complemented their academic programs. Megan then went on to become the Director of Student Affairs at the School of Visual Arts, where she oversaw Residence Life, Health and Counseling Services, Disability Services, and Student Activities. She then came to Lacordaire Academy in 2012 where she has served ever since.
