Montclair's Saturday Paper Shredding Event Canceled

Another shredding event is scheduled for Oct. 3.

MONTCLAIR, NJ —A community paper shredding event, "Shred-Fest," originally scheduled to be held on Saturday has been canceled, the township announced.

In a notice on its website, the township said the the event has been canceled out of concern around the new coronavirus.

But residents with a surplus of paper waste need not fear. A nonprofit organization, HOMECorp, is hosting a public shred day on Oct. 3 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
