Pickpocket Steals 5 Phones During Concert In Montclair: Police

Several people said their mobile devices were taken from their pocket during the show.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — A pickpocket stole phones from several people at a recent concert in Montclair, police announced Tuesday.

According to the Montclair Police Department, the thefts took place during a show at the Wellmont Theater on Aug. 2.

Five people reported that their mobile devices were taken from their pocket. The devices were all iPhone models 14, 15 and 16, police said.
