Planning Board OKs CentroVerde Project

Project is planned for Bloomfield Avenue between Valley and Orange roads.

 

The Montclair Planning Board unanimously approved the first phase of the CentroVerde project Monday night that's planned on Bloomfield Avenue between Valley and Orange roads, according to The Montclair Times on Tuesday.

According to the newspaper, the property is home to vacant car dealerships owned by the DCH Auto Group, which has forged a partnership with the Montclair-based Pinnacle Companies, one of the groups behind The Siena condominium building at the corner of Church and South Park streets, to redevelop the site.

Mayor Jerry Fried, who will end his time in office on Sunday, said he firmly supports the project.
