PSEG Pipe Replacement Will Close Montclair Roads: See The List

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Road closures will take place in Montclair on several streets over the next two weeks due to a pipe replacement project.

PSE&G is currently working on a project in Montclair to replace aging cast iron pipes with new, durable piping to improve the safety and reliability of gas lines throughout the township, according to a municipal advisory.

The work is scheduled to begin on Monday, Nov. 24 and conclude Friday, Dec. 5. No work will be done over the Thanksgiving holiday (Nov. 27 and Nov. 28).

Work will take place Monday through Friday between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the following sites:

Road Closure: Bellevue Ave. b/w Broad St. & Grove St.

Road Closure: Bellgrove Dr. b/w Bellevue Ave. & Dead-End

• When: Monday, November 24 to Friday, December 5

Road Closure: Park St. b/w Summit Ave & Inwood Ave.

• When: Monday, November 24 to Wednesday, November 26

Road Closure: Lorraine Ave. b/w Park St. & Norwood Ave.

• When: Monday, November 24 to Wednesday, November 26

Road Closure: Overlook Rd. b/w Park St. & Norwood Ave.

• When: Monday, November 24 to Wednesday, November 26

Road Closure: Duryea Rd. b/w Lorraine Ave. & Inwood Ave.

• When: Monday, November 24 to Wednesday, November 26

Road Closure: Glennside Terr. b/w Bellevue Ave. & Dead-End

• When: Monday, November 24 to Wednesday, November 26

Road Closure: Essex Ave. b/w Sunset Park & Cambridge Rd.

• When: Monday, December 1 to Friday, December 5
