Rainy Wednesday In Montclair May Include Snow, Weather Forecasters Say

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Montclair is expected to see a rainy day on Wednesday, and it may include some snow. The good news? “Little or no snow accumulation” is expected, weather forecasters say.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), snow and a wintry mix are in store as a frigid stretch continues in New Jersey. The highest chance of snow is in the northwestern corner of the state, which could see up to 1 inch, forecasters said.

There is a 90 percent chance of precipitation on Wednesday in the Montclair area, forecasters said.

Here’s the local forecast for the next few days, as per the NWS:

Wednesday: Rain after 10am, mixing with snow after 4pm. High near 41. Wind chill values between 20 and 30. Southwest wind 9 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 32 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Wednesday Night: A slight chance of rain and snow before 7pm, then a slight chance of rain between 7pm and 1am. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 29. Wind chill values between 20 and 25. Southwest wind around 14 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 36. Wind chill values between 20 and 25. West wind 16 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 36 mph.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 25. West wind 11 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 32 mph.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 35.

Friday Night: A 30 percent chance of light snow after 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 25.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 39.

Saturday Night: A 30 percent chance of snow after 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 27.

Sunday: A 40 percent chance of snow before noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 34.

Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 17.
