‘Road Rage’ In Glen Ridge After Car Stops For Children: Police
A case of "road rage" took place in Glen Ridge after a driver stopped to let some children cross the street, authorities say.
ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — A case of “road rage” recently took place in Glen Ridge after a driver stopped to let some children cross the street, authorities reported Wednesday.
According to the Glen Ridge Police Department, an officer responded to the area of Ridgewood and Woodland avenues at 8:13 a.m. on Jan. 15 after getting a report about a car crash and “road rage” incident.
One of the cars allegedly struck the other vehicle intentionally after the driver allowed several children to cross the road. The driver then got out of their car, verbally berated the other motorist and struck them in the face, police said.

Nobody was injured, authorities said.
The incident was referred to the Glen Ridge Municipal Court, police said.
