Sinatra at the Library, Meditating in Van Vleck, Free Friday at Art Museum

Start spreading the news ... A Touch of Sinatra, a musical show about the life and music of Frank Sinatra, will be performed at the Montclair Public Library Tuesday, at 7 p.m.
News could be made at the Montclair Council conference meeting Tuesday, at 7 p.m., in the second floor conference room of the Municipal Building, 205 Claremont Ave.
Weekly meditation classes led by John E. Welshons will be held in the living room of the Van Vleck House on Wednesdays, from 7 to 9 p.m. Visit Van Vleck's website for details.
On Friday, admission is free at the Montclair Art Museum, as it is every first friday of the month during regular hours from noon to 5 p.m. Videos by Brooklyn-based artist Lee Arnold are on display on the outdoor video monitors through Sept. 15.
Ladies night is about to get artsy. Pinot's Palette, 351 Bloomfield Ave., a new B.Y.O.B. art studio, will host its grand opening on Saturday. Stop by to paint an "Enchanted Artist" at 7 p.m.
