Sophomore From Montclair Emerges For MKA Field Hockey
...sophomore is leading scorer for strong Cougar stickers
Up-and-coming sophomore star Olivia Adubato of Montclair has been the leading scorer for the Montclair Kimberley Academy field hockey team through the first 20 games with 12 goals as she has emerged as one of the top young players in Essex County this fall.
MKA reached the 2025 Essex County Tournament final finishing as the runner-up to state power and now 14-time ECT champion West Essex.
"Olivia has had a great sophomore season for us and will continue to keep getting better as one of our key players both now and in looking at a very bright future," said veteran MKA coach Injoo Han. "We have 10 seniors on our team - almost half the roster - and with their graduation there will certainly be holes to fill meaning it will definitely be a transition in terms of us needing underclassmen to step up next year.
