Star Student Is In Honor Society, Volunteers With Verona Rescue Squad
Keira, a National Honor Society inductee, is also a youth member at the Verona Rescue Squad.

VERONA-CEDAR GROVE, NJ — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students in New Jersey, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.
One such person? Keira of Verona-Cedar Grove, a National Honor Society inductee and youth member at the Verona Rescue Squad who was nominated by a family member.

Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?
Keira is not only a National Honor Society inductee but is a Youth Member at the Verona Rescue Squad. Where she helps the community by supporting those in need and in crisis. As the four pillars of the National Honor Society require, Keira has been in countless honors and AP classes, has leadership positions in multiple clubs, along with Rescue Squad she volunteers annually with the Sandy Hook beach clean up, and she is regarded by her teachers and peers to be hardworking and conscientious. She loves to learn new things, visiting big cities, and enjoys her time with her friends. She’s very excited about life and looks forward to new experiences.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?
Keira loves to read and is known to read multiple books at a time.
