Stolen Car Spotted In Montclair, Speeds Away Into West Orange: PD
A stolen car was spotted in Essex County, but the driver sped away from police, authorities said.
MONTCLAIR, NJ — A stolen car was spotted in Montclair last week, but the driver sped away from police into a nearby town, authorities said.
According to the Montclair Police Department, an officer patrolling the area of Harrison Avenue on Nov. 6 saw a silver Volkswagen Tiguan that was reported stolen.
The officer tried to pull the vehicle over, but it fled at a high rate of speed into West Orange, police said. No additional information was immediately available.
