Montclair resident Langston Ajayi a returning starter for Cougars

Montclair resident Langston Ajayi is a veteran member of the defensive line for the Montclair Kimberley Academy football team this fall, returning as a starter at defensive end.

"Langston is a talented young man who provides great experience and skill at D-end for us," said MKA veteran coach Anthony Rea. "And, he has some D3 (Division III) interest because of his great potential he is just beginning to tap."

The athletic and strong 6-foot, 190-pound Ajayi has 2 sacks, 1.5 tackles for a loss and 7 total tackles through the first four games for MKA (1-3).

He is coming off a splendid junior campaign in which he had 5 sacks, 3 TFL and 30 tackles for an 8-1 MKA team which captured the Metropolitan Independent Football League South Division championship in 2024.
