United Way Seeks Miracle Maker Award Nominees

Do you know someone in your life that has made a significant contribution to the community?

Why not nominate that special person for a Women in Support of United Way Miracle Maker Award?

The awards honor individuals and organizations who have made significant contributions to advance the common good in Essex and West Hudson county communities.

There are four Miracle Maker Award categories:

• Education - Helping children and youth achieve their potential through education.
• Health - Helping to improve the lives of children, adults and seniors.
• Income - Helping families to become financially stable and independent.
• Community Linkage/Service - honors a recipient whose leadership and service is not limited to a single area of concern, but rather whose commitment and leadership have made dramatic differences in the overall quality of life for the people of our community.

The deadline for filing nomination forms is next Tuesday, Jan. 24.

Winners will be honored at the Night of Miracles Gala on Friday, May 25 at the Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange.
