WATCH: Montclair Raises LGBTQ Pride Flag At 2025 Event

Montclair Township recently recognized LGBTQ Pride Month with the raising of a Pride Flag.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Montclair Township recently recognized LGBTQ Pride Month with the raising of a Pride Flag.

The ceremony was hosted by Out Montclair, and took place at the intersection of Church Street and Bloomfield Avenue.

Township officials, staff, activists, political leaders and local residents were in attendance at the ceremony.

Mayor Renee Baskerville and Deputy Mayor Susan Shin Andersen were among the speakers who delivered remarks, representing the township's “dedication to inclusivity and its support of the LGBQTIA+ community,” according to a municipal news release.
