And, perhaps most importantly, especially in this heat, it also has a spacious swimming pool. Stanton & Co. reported that the just-sold 495 Park Street represents the largest house sale in Montclair in the past year. The seven-bedroom Tudor home, which sits on over half an acre of land, was listed—and sold for—$1,999,999. Dog Bites, Knocks Over Teen

A dog bit and then knocked a 16-year-old girl off her bike on Claremont Avenue this past week. The dog and the owner fled the scene. An estimated 4.7 million dog bites occur in the country every year.

Hometown parades are something extraordinary. And Montclair's Fourth of July parade was no exception. After all, where else would you find your neighbors shooting each other with Silly String, or the township council members waving because they actually know you? The Lesbian & Gay Big Apple Corps marched in Montclair's 62nd annual Independence Day parade, as did Mayor Robert Jackson, Deputy Mayor Bob Russo and former Mayor Jerry Fried.

Montclair To Hold Jobs Lottery For Teens

Does your teen need a summer job? The Township of Montclair Youth Summer Jobs Program will hold a lottery to fill 20 summer employment openings for Montclair resident youths ages 15 to 19.
