Well-Known Montclair Pizzeria Will Close, Cites 'Rising Labor, Food Costs'

MONTCLAIR, NJ — A well-known pizzeria in Montclair will be closing its doors this weekend: DaVinci’s Brick Oven Pizza.
DaVinci’s – located at 223 Bellevue Avenue – has served the Upper Montclair community for more than 25 years. It’s final day of slinging pies will take place on Saturday, Sept. 20 at the Upper Montclair Sidewalk Sale. A variety of pizzas will be available in front of the store.
“Despite a sound business model, rising labor and food costs and limited volume make it impossible to continue,” the restaurant posted on social media.
