Will Montclair Get Snow This Week? See Local Weather Forecast

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Will Montclair see snow this week? According to weather forecasters, there’s a “slight chance of snow showers” on Tuesday and Wednesday – and some rain possible later in the week.

Monday was expected to be calm and dry, with temperatures as warm as the mid-40s, the National Weather Service (NWS) said. But the chance of precipitation and "snow squalls" increases as the week progresses.

Here’s the latest forecast for Montclair, according to the NWS:

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 37. Southwest wind around 14 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph.

Monday Night: Increasing clouds, with a low around 29. Wind chill values between 20 and 25. Southwest wind 14 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.

Tuesday: A slight chance of snow showers between 10am and 1pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 36. Wind chill values between 20 and 25. Northwest wind 13 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 37 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Tuesday Night: A 20 percent chance of snow showers after 1am. Increasing clouds, with a steady temperature around 27. Wind chill values between 20 and 25. Calm wind becoming south 5 to 8 mph after midnight.

Wednesday: A slight chance of rain and snow showers before 1pm, then a slight chance of rain showers between 1pm and 4pm, then a slight chance of rain and snow showers after 4pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 43. Southwest wind 11 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 21.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 34.

Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 27.

Friday: A 50 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 43.

Friday Night: A chance of rain showers before 1am, then a chance of rain and snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 30. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Saturday: A chance of rain and snow. Partly sunny, with a high near 36. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Saturday Night: A 30 percent chance of snow. Partly cloudy, with a low around 20.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 32.
