Woman Dies 12 Days After Car Crash In Montclair, Authorities Say
The deceased woman's husband was also hospitalized after the crash, Essex County prosecutors said.
MONTCLAIR, NJ — A passenger involved in a car crash in Montclair earlier this month has died, authorities say.
According to the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, the single-vehicle crash took place near Erie Street and Sylvan Place at 6:12 p.m. on June 8.
A front seat passenger in the car – Eugenia Antipas, 50 – passed away at University Hospital in Newark on Friday.

Antipas’ husband was driving the car at the time of the crash. The 48-year-old Ridgewood resident was also taken to a nearby hospital. It isn’t currently known if he remains hospitalized or has been transferred to a rehabilitation facility, authorities said.
An investigation into the crash continues, prosecutors said Tuesday.
