Stella Dowling: Being successful has different meanings for different people. My personal level of success with YPCK is any positive (or pawsitive as we would like to say) impact that we can make both in the lives of people and as pets.
Patch: What is your most popular product?

Stella Dowling: Our Bullhorn. An all natural chew toy on a rope that dogs love! One of the benefits of this is that the horn actually softens as you chew so you don't have to worry about broken teeth or bones.
Patch: If you had to recommend three books to someone, what would they be and why?
Stella Dowling: Steve Job's biography - Steve Jobs can be an inspiration to anyone who has an entrepreneurial spirit. He remained steadfast and persistent even with struggling times with Apple, showing others that your dreams are always worth pursuing.
The Greatest Salesman in the World by OG Mandino-This book is not just about sales but it is about inspiring you to believe in yourself and also your ability to help others which for me is extremely important.
Quote: "I will live this day as if it is my last. This day is all I have and these hours are all my eternity. I greet the sunrise with cries of joy from a prisoner who is reprieved from death. I lift mine arms with thanks for this priceless gift of a new day."
The Power of Positive Thinking by Norman Vincent Peal- to be successful in life you must have a positive mindset. The saying "you are your own worst enemy" is true so get out of the way and move forward.
Patch: Can you talk a little bit about what a PAW-ty is?
Stella Dowling: PAW-ties give pet lovers the opportunity to come together with or without the fur kid at home to learn about the products that will keep those furry family members healthy and happy.
Patch: What is the YPCK difference?
Stella Dowling: The YPCK difference is tri fold; we support our community with a wonderful career opportunity, high quality products, and overall customer satisfaction. Unlike some of the big box pet stores, we will never sacrifice quality for monetary gain.
Patch: Are you a pet owner and if so, what kind of pet(s) do you own?
Stella Dowling: Honey, a spoiled cockapoo is an immediate member of my family. Additionally, I have owned 6 cats during my lifetime, including Butterscotch the Orange Tabby that I had for 18 years. As a child we had dogs, cats, and also fish for pets.
Patch: How did you get into the pet industry.
Stella Dowling: My love of wanting to empower people came first, however, the idea to combine pets and paw-ties came from not being able to find quality products and also watching have pets have positively impacted humans lives. Currently the pet industry is over a 60 billion dollar industry, one of the fastest growing industries world wide.
Patch: What is your favorite part about your job?
Stella Dowling: I love seeing a positive affect on any of our Pet Advocates or employees. This is what creates joy for me personally.
Patch: What are the top three things readers should look for when purchasing their pet a new grooming product?
Stella Dowling: All natural products, benefits for the pets skin and coat and quality ingredients are important when looking for new grooming products. Those are what we look for when we're adding new products to our list.
Patch: How does Yuppy Puppy City Kitty stand out from the competition?
Stella Dowling: In the direct sales field, pet product companies are rare and the pet industry is booking. This is a ground floor opportunity that people don't want to miss out on, as the industry is projected to grow from 62 billion to 91 billion in the next 3 years.
Patch: Do you have any upcoming events or do you offer any opportunities where readers could become a part of Yuppy Puppy City Kitty?
Stella Dowling: We are continuously looking for pet lovers and entrepreneurs to start their own pet boutique. The YPCK Grand Launch event is being held in Parsipanny NJ on June 25 from 1-3 pm at the Sheraton hotel.
Patch: How can readers contact you or find out more about Yuppy Puppy City Kitty?
