Amphitheater Concert, Natural Resource Hearing This Week

Township Committee: Montville Township's governing body is scheduled to meet at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the municipal building. It's assistant administrator Adam Brewer's last meeting before he's scheduled to start his new job as administrator in West Caldwell.

Natural Resource Inventory: An updated version of a document that details the geology, hydrology, soils, wetlands, vegetation, contaminated sites and historic and cultural features in Montville Township has been released for the first time in nearly 20 years. It will be discussed at a public hearing 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the municipal building. The Natural Resource Inventory is used when development applications are reviewed and amendments to the Master Plan and Land Development Regulations are considered.

Outdoor Concert: Concerts in the Park 2013 continues 7 p.m. Thursday with Full Circle playing popular tunes for all to enjoy at the Montville Community Park Amphitheater. One other band is scheduled to play this month, wrapping up the series: Parrot Beach, a Jimmy Buffett tribute band, on Aug. 22.

Lots Happening at Library: Picture Bingo at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, drop-in craft at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Legos at 11 a.m. Friday. Monday Movie Madness at 1 p.m. will feature a recent film about Jackie Robinson. The Kidz Movie is 1 p.m. Friday.
