Meet Montville Election Candidates on Thursday

The 7:30 p.m. planning board meeting is canceled on Thursday

Election Day is a few weeks away here in Montville – who will you be voting for? Learn more about who you're voting for at the Candidates Night forum at 7 p.m. at the Senior House, which is hosted by the Montville Area Tea Party.

Here's a look at the lineup for Thursday night's candidates night:

  • Montville Township Committee Candidate - Scott Gallopo
  • Board of Education Candidates - Diane Bordonaro, J. Morella and C. Novi
  • Board of Chosen Freeholder Candidates
  • Republican Candidates - Kathy DeFillippo, Tom Mastrangelo, and Doug Cabana
  • Democrat Candidates - Thomas Moran and Donald Cresitello

For the school board, there are four candidates running for three seats with 3-year terms.

  • Diane M. Bordonaro
  • John Morella (incumbent)
  • Carmela Novi (incumbent)
  • Michael F. O’Brien

For the unexpired 2-year term available on the board, David Modrak is running unchallenged.

For township council, there are four candidates running for two committee seats with 3-year terms.

  • Richard D. Conklin (R)
  • Scott Gallopo (R) (incumbent)
  • Daniel Grant (D)
  • Truscha Quatrone (D)

The book fair William Mazon continues today and ends after today for Lazar.

There will also be Senior Lunch at the Senior House from 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. on Thursday.
