Montville Alum Awarded Prestigious Scholarship

The Montville school district has plenty of to be proud of and another recent graduate has recently received a prestigious award.

Jason Mahr, a graduate of the Class of 2013, was awarded a $5,000 Claes Nobel Academic Scholarship from The National Society of High School Scholars. 

He is one of 10 in the nation to have gotten this scholarship this year and he's now going to Harvard University. 

The scholarship selection was based on academic record, leadership activities, community service, personal statement and educator recommendations, said the district.
