Montville Recreation

The Montville Recreation Department is sponsoring CONCERTS IN THE PARK for Summer 2022.

Concerts are FREE and feature music of All Genres for All Ages.

They take place on TUESDAYS in July & August from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the Montville Community Park Amphitheater Park behind Montville Twp. High School OR Public Library (enter from 90/100 Horseneck Road).

JULY 7th – KOOTZ BAND (Thursday)

Featuring Classic-Rock, Pop, Soul & Blues

Playing the music of the 60’s featuring The British Invasion.

JULY 19th – FIVE WHEEL DRIVE

FIVE WHEEL DRIVE is the latest band founded by Montville’s own RICH PARISI. This dynamic band takes you on a musical journey that is guaranteed to keep you on your feet and partying the whole night through. Their up-beat renditions of your favorite dance-able songs span the decades from the past through today.

JULY 26th – 3 SHADES OF GREEN

A mix of Classic Rock Music mostly from the 60’s through the 90’s. They play the music they grew up with and are as passionate about the songs as if they wrote them themselves!

AUGUST 9th – STREET HASSLE

Street Hassle is a “Powerful Horn Band” with skilled area musicians that enjoy performing interpretations of

Classic Rock, Blues, Motown and Pop including Chicago, The Rolling Stones, Dusty Springfield and Tina Turner. They feature world class musicians that have toured with The Asbury Jukes, 10,000 Maniacs, Harry Conic Jr.

and Joe Jackson to name a few.

AUGUST 16th - MIGHTY SPECTRUM BAND

Has a long standing reputation as the most dynamic band in the NY/NJ area. Featuring Timeless Classics from Chicago, The Doors, Bruce Springsteen, The J. Geils Band, Elvis Presley, Van Morrison, and countless others.

AUGUST 23rd – ARENA Relive The Rock

ARENA Relive The Rock pays tribute to the big sound and power of some of the greatest rock bands of our time:

Boston, Journey, Heart, Pat Benatar, AC/DC, Guns N’ Roses, Styx, Foreigner, Queen, Foo Fighters, Alanis Morissette, Alice In Chains and more. ARENA RTR’s spectacular stage show creates a visual performance with power and energy that further enhances the experience of being at a real LIVE Arena Rock Concert. Get Ready to Rock!

Bring lawn chairs and/or blankets for comfortable seating. The park area has been sprayed for mosquitoes, however come prepared! Alcoholic beverages are prohibited on Township property. In case of inclement weather please check the Hotline at 973-331-3377.
