SPEECH & DEBATE CLASSES for Grades 6th-8th (Beginner & Advanced Levels).

The Montville Recreation Department is sponsoring SPEECH & DEBATE CLASSES for Grades 6th-8th (Beginner & Advanced Levels).
This program will focus on the techniques of public speaking in the areas of oral interpretation, extemporaneous and impromptu speaking, as well as categories of debate such as Lincoln Douglas and Public Forum. Sessions will be held by officers of the Montville Forensics team and supervised by the coaches.
Students should bring laptops, a notebook, and a writing utensil as well as any food or drink they would like to have during the session. Food and drinks will not be provided.

Program takes place at Montville Twp. High School Class Room 301 located at 100 Horseneck Road in Montville.
Classes run on Tuesdays: October 4, 11, 18, 25, November 1, 8, 15 & 22 from 3:30pm to 5:30pm.

Instruction is provided by Mr. Justin Scrufari - History teacher at MTHS and Head Coach of 2 years, Ms. Alexandra Iemmello - English teacher at MTHS and Asst. Coach of 3 Years, Mr. Andrew Prescott - Asst. Coach of 3 Years and Forensics Alumna, and Mr. Andrew Hong - Asst. Coach and Forensics Alumna.
The cost is $145.00 per student for the 8 (eight) week program.
