• Montville's Own WWII Hero, 103, Honored by NY Jets on Pearl Harbor Day (tapinto.net) — A 103-year-old Towaco resident and World War II veteran, Gerry Gemian, was honored as the New York Jets’ “Veteran of the Game” on Pearl Harbor Day after a nomination led by a Montville businessman and Red Barn Restaurant’s owner. Montville friends joined Gemian in a private suite at MetLife Stadium as the crowd celebrated his Central Pacific service and long-standing presence in the local community.
