MONTVILLE, NJ — A poem written by a 9-year-old Montville student was selected for publication in a national magazine.
Ethan Chen's poem will run in the July/August 2021 issue of Spider magazine. Geared for kids ages 6 to 9, it features short stories, poems, articles and activities by children’s authors and artists.
In each issue, readers are invited to submit their original artwork or writing on a specific theme to Spider’s Corner. In April, readers were asked to submit an original poem about hatching from an egg.
