Poll: Are You Pulling for NJ's American Idol Hopeful?

She's gotten rave reviews, but if you thought someone was better, would you vote for them?

She's not the first, and she won't be the last. But New Jersey native and graduate Elise Testone may just be the contestant to win it all.

The vocalist, who now lives in South Carolina, is one of the final nine on "American Idol," and is hoping to keep going after tonight's vote.

If you've been watching or reading our coverage on Patch, you know that it's no secret the judges have been raving about her voice. On Wednesday night, her song of choice was Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love." New York radio personality and former NFL star Boomer Esiason liked what he heard, saying "she killed it" coming out of a commercial break on The Boomer and Carton Morning Show on WFAN this morning.

But she may not be your favorite of the talented group that is left. However, she's got Jersey roots.
