Scout Picnic, Pine Brook FD's 100th Anniversary This Week

Library Board: The Montville Township Public Library Board meets at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the library.

Township Committee: Montville's governing body is scheduled to meet at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the municipal building.

Scout Picnic: Join the fun with Cub Scout Pack 179! If your son is entering first through fifth grades at Woodmont, Valley View or Hilldale schools in September and you would like to learn more about Cub Scouts, join Pack 179 for its annual picnic at 6 p.m. Friday at Montville Community Park. Fire Department Centennial: The Pine Brook Fire Department's 100th Anniversary Celebration is scheduled for 4 p.m. Saturday at the firehouse on Bloomfield Avenue. Free food and drink, a live DJ, bounce houses for kids and lots of fire trucks are in store at the free event.

Business Milestone: The Chelsea recently marked its 25th anniversary. Stay tuned for a post about the assisted living facility's celebration.
