Valley View PTA Urges Shoppers to 'Forget the Malls'

The Valley View School Parent Teacher Association PTA) is encouraging shoppers to consider another option for purchasing gifts this holday season.

The PTA will be hosting the Forget the Malls! Holiday Shopping Extravaganza on Dec. 7. During the event, which will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Senior House, gifts from more than 20 vendors will be available for purchase.

Some of the items for sale by the vendors include jewelry, houseware, clothing, accessories, chocolates and other gifts. A few of the specific vendors include Lia Sophia, Creative Memories and Hodgepodge Unique Gifts.

Additionally, the PTA will host a bake sale at the event.
