The tradition has steadily grown, with additional restaurants participating each time, prompting organizers to make it a bi-annual event by adding a Winter Restaurant Week in early 2023.

"Last summer, nearly 150 restaurants participated, including at least one from each of Burlington County's 40 municipalities," said County Commissioner Director Felicia Hopson. "That's a phenomenal accomplishment that shows how popular this event has become, and we expect this summer will surpass that total and become Burlington County's biggest Restaurant Week to date."

Restaurant Week is organized by the Burlington County Board of Commissioners, State Sen. Troy Singleton and the Burlington County Regional Chamber of Commerce. Throughout the week, they visit participating businesses and highlight them on social media.

Local establishments can still sign up for Restaurant Week. Restaurants are encouraged to create specials or discounts, but it's not required. Participation is free.
