Acclaimed Atlantic City Restaurant To Open In Moorestown

MOORESTOWN, NJ — An acclaimed Atlantic City restaurant will open a new location at Moorestown Mall in a homecoming, of sorts, for the owner.
John Murphy, a Moorestown resident, owns Ryfe Bar & Restaurant — recently named Atlantic City's best eatery by Restaurant Guru. Ryfe in Moorestown has a projected March opening.

According to township documents, the restaurant is slated for Space 1375 on the mall property. That was the site of Hash House A Go Go — a brunch eatery that permanently closed its mall location last December.
The Atlantic City restaurant's offerings include seafood, steak, burgers and an array of cocktails at the bar. The restaurant also touts a family-friendly atmosphere, which Murphy plans to replicate at the Moorestown location.

At Monday's Township Council meeting, Moorestown officials approved the transfer of a plenary retail consumption license to the future restaurant. The licenses allow restaurants and bars to serve alcohol.
Moorestown officials expressed excitement about a Moorestown resident opening a restaurant in the township.
The council's approval of the license transfer is preliminary. Full authorization will require a satisfactory investigation by Moorestown police and the state's Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control.
