Afro-Caribbean Restaurant Opening Soon In Burlington County
Sassa Bienne has long operated as a food truck, serving Caribbean, West African and Cajun delicacies around the region.
MARLTON, NJ — A new restaurant will bring the rich flavors of the Caribbean, Liberia and more to South Jersey. Sassa Bienne Afro Caribbean & Cajun Food will hold its soft opening later this month in Marlton.
Sassa Bienne's food truck has been serving Caribbean, West African and Cajun delicacies around the region for more than 15 years. The concept will soon have a permanent home at 300 E Greentree Rd., Unit 18-19, Marlton.
The soft opening runs from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Nov. 30, with a grand opening set for a mid-December date to be announced. Sassa Bienne will display its full menu Tuesday on its social media pages.

Sassa Bienne previewed some of its upcoming offerings last weekend in a Facebook post:
"Jerk Chicken, Jerk Pork, Liberian Chuck Rice & Gravy, Brown Stewed Chicken, Oxtails, Curry Goat, Sweet Chicken Gravy, Curry Chicken, Roti, Conch Fritters, Fried Chicken, Red Snapper, Catfish, Sweet Jerk Ribs, Liberian Kalla with Pepper Sauce, Veggie Red Beans & Rice, Collard Greens, Sweet Candy Yams, Liberian Potato salad, Liberian Jollof Rice, Jamaican Patties – beef, chicken, veggies; Sweet Plantains, Whiting fillet, Budu Monster Burgers, Rib-eyed Steak, and of course SASSA famous Caribbean Baked Mac. Just to name a few of our exciting menu dishes."

The restaurant will also have a short-order menu featuring hot dots, chicken tenders and more.
Sassa Bienne will offer a 15 percent discount on orders Nov. 30.
