Cambridge Enhanced Senior Living Honors U.S. Military Veterans
Moorestown Senior Living Community Celebrates Residents for Their Service
Cambridge Enhanced Senior Living hosted a special Veteran’s Day celebration for its residents who have proudly served their country in wartime and peacetime. The event included a happy hour with mocktails and cake, as well as a poppy assembly group. The community, in partnership with Suncrest Hospice and Haddon Home Care, also presented their 14 resident veterans with a certificate and pins.
Cambridge Executive Director Randi Sexton said, “Words are not enough to express the gratitude we have for the service and sacrifices of our resident veterans. This observance allowed us to come together as a community and do something special to show them how much we appreciate their courage and commitment to keeping us safe.”
Observed annually on November 11, Veteran’s Day is marked by local remembrances and parades across the U.S., as well as a national ceremony held each year at Arlington National Cemetery.
