Water Main Break Closes Moorestown's Riverton Road

Update, 10:54 a.m.: Riverton Road is down to one lane as repairs remain underway. Police advised the public to avoid the area for the next few hours.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — A portion of Riverton Road in Moorestown is closed Tuesday morning due to a water main break and "icing conditions," officials said.

The roadway is closed between New Albany Road and Broadmoor Boulevard as of 9 a.m.

Public works personnel are making repairs on-site.

Avoid the area, and seek an alternate route, officials said.
