Council To Discuss Tax Exemption Involving Moorestown Mall

MOORESTOWN, NJ — Moorestown Council will introduce a proposed ordinance to enter into a long-term tax exemption agreement with an entity representing the Moorestown Mall when it meets Monday night.

The agenda released by the township on Friday didn’t specify what the agreement entails, but the title states the name will be changed from Moorestown Mall LLC to MT Residential Urban Renewal, LLC.

Council will also introduce a proposed ordinance to vacate Sbar Boulevard. There will be a public hearing and final vote on a proposed ordinance to establish additional titles and salary ranges for certain supervisory and technical positions. There are also 11 items on the consent agenda.

The meeting will take place at 7 p.m. and it will be held virtually.
