Crack, Pot Found During DWI Stop, Police Say
Also, Mount Laurel Police say a Hainesport man wiped out on a stolen motorcycle and a township man had $20,000 transferred out of his bank account—without his permission.

March 3
Theft (The Lakes) — Police said a check card, belonging to a resident of the 1600 block of Denham Court, was used to make $500 in fraudulent purchases from the Macy’s in Garden City.
March 5
Computer criminal activity — A township resident told police approximately $20,000 was electronically transferred from his bank account without authorization sometime between Feb. 22 and March 5.
March 6
Theft (Holiday Village East), 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. — A patio table, valued at $100, was stolen from the rear patio of a residence on the unit block of Carolina Way, police said.
March 7
Arrest (possession of marijuana), 12:36 p.m. — Police arrested Allen Quintana, 19, of the 100 block of Chilton Street, Elizabeth, and Dominic P. Minter, 21, of the unit block of Jacques Street, Elizabeth, after they were stopped on Route 73 for a motor vehicle violation, according to a report. Both were charged with possession of marijuana (under 50 grams) and released pending a municipal court hearing.
Theft — A projector, valued at $1,000, and a desktop computer, valued at $1,500, were stolen in separate incidents from the Laurel Hall building at Burlington County College on College Circle, according to police. The project was stolen between 8:15 p.m. Feb. 25 and 10:55 a.m. Feb. 26. The computer was stolen between 1:10-1:45 p.m. March 7. There was no sign of forced entry to the building or rooms, police said.
Arrest (forgery/counterfeiting) — Police arrested Scott M. Pacyna, 30, of the 300 block of Spruce Street, Linden, after he passed counterfeit currency on March 1 and 3, according to a report. He was charged with forgery and lodged at the New Jersey State Prison for a parole violation. Bail was set at $25,000.
Theft (Larchmont) — Someone stole a $300 aluminum ladder from the backyard of a residence on the 200 block of Willow Turn sometime between Feb. 21 and March 7, according to police.
Forgery, 8:27 p.m. — Someone presented a fraudulent prescription in an attempt to obtain Oxycodone at the CVS on Route 38, police said. The transaction was denied by the pharmacist.
March 8
Arrest (shoplifting) — Police arrested Tammy M. Layton, 33, of the 100 block of Risdon Street, Mount Holly, for shoplifting $251.31 in merchandise from the Ulta on Nixon Drive, according to a report. She was served with criminal complaints and released pending a municipal court hearing.
March 9
Arrest (forgery/counterfeiting) — Police arrested Robert A. Smith Jr., 49, of the unit block of Newtown Lane, Willingboro, for allegedly passing counterfeit currency on March 1 and 3, according to a report. Smith was charged with forgery and lodged at Burlington County Jail on $12,500 bail.
Arrest (theft from a vehicle) — Police arrested Dustin B. Yvon, 21, of the 1500 block of Larchmont Place, for stealing a purse from an unlocked vehicle, according to a report. He was served with criminal complaints and released pending a municipal court hearing.
Arrest (possession of paraphernalia), 8:28 a.m. — Police arrested Sherief T. Lewis, 21, of the 5300 block of Charles Street, Philadelphia, after he was stopped on Gaither Drive for a motor vehicle violation, according to a report. Lewis was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and released pending a municipal court hearing.
Burglary, 5:30-8:31 p.m. — A burglar stole an undetermined amount of jewelry from a home on the unit block of Locust Court after getting in through an unlocked rear window, police said.
March 11
Attempted burglary, 4:18 a.m. — Two unidentified people were seen trying to break into a shed on the 300 block of Texas Avenue, police said. A neighbor called in the incident. Both subjects had fled the area by the time police arrived.
Arrest (possession of heroin), 9:26 p.m. — Police arrested Caitlin J. Magruder, 27, of the unit block of Dewberry Court, after she was caught with heroin and drug paraphernalia while officers were serving unrelated warrants at her home, according to a report. She was charged with possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia, and released pending a municipal court hearing.
March 12
Arrest (theft) — Police arrested Robert E. Cerini, 52, of the 100 block of Park Boulevard, Cherry Hill, after he accepted a $3,500 deposit for roof work he never performed, according to a report. He was charged with theft by failing to make required disposition and released on $1,000 bail pending a municipal court hearing.
Arrest (receiving stolen property) — Police arrested Alan J. Barbosa, 32, of the 200 block of Lumberton Road, Hainesport, after he crashed a motorcycle, valued at $18,000, reported stolen out of Westampton, according to a report. He was served with criminal complaints and released pending a municipal court hearing.
March 13
Arrest (DWI), 1:36 a.m. — Police arrested Bonnie L. Davis, 52, of the 100 block of Colin Court, after she was stopped on Hartford Road, according to a report. She was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a municipal court hearing.
Arrest (DWI/possession of crack), 4:35 a.m. — Police arrested Andrew J. Laughlin, 27, of the 100 block of Fleetwood Avenue, after he was stopped on Route 38, according to a report. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, possession of crack cocaine, possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released pending a municipal court hearing.
